By creating an account, registering a team, applying to a competition, submitting an application, accepting an assignment, or otherwise using KSG Leagues, you agree to these Terms to the extent applicable to your activity. If you act for a team, club, company or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
1. Agreement and electronic contracting
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and KSG Leagues (“KSG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) concerning the KSG Leagues website, accounts, competition administration, team registration, staffing opportunities, partnership applications, event participation, media activities and related services (collectively, the “Services”). Competition-specific rules, published season terms, registration disclosures, disciplinary rules, venue rules, signed releases, assignments and written agreements may also apply. If a competition-specific written term conflicts with these general Terms, the more specific term controls for that competition or activity.
Where KSG presents a checkbox, attestation, electronic signature, submission button or other clear acceptance mechanism, your electronic acceptance is intended to have the same force as a handwritten signature to the fullest extent permitted by law. You should retain a copy of the Terms and any competition-specific terms in effect when you submit an application.
2. Accounts, eligibility and truthful information
You must provide accurate, current and complete information and keep material information reasonably current. You may not impersonate another person or organization, submit documents you are not authorized to provide, misstate authority over a team, create deceptive duplicate records, interfere with the Services, attempt unauthorized access, or use KSG systems for unlawful activity.
KSG may require identity, authority, age, eligibility, insurance, organizational, payment or other verification before approving a team, participant, staff role, partnership, competition entry or other activity. Where identification or eligibility documents are required, forged, altered, borrowed, fraudulently obtained or otherwise falsified documents are prohibited. KSG may deny, suspend or disqualify an application, participant or team when documentation is reasonably believed to be false or fraudulent, may report suspected unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities, and may cooperate with lawful law-enforcement investigations and requests as permitted or required by law.
3. Team-level relationship and authority
KSG administers team participation primarily at the registered team level. The person identified as a team owner, primary point of contact, manager or other authorized representative is responsible for communications with KSG and for ensuring that instructions, rules, notices, invoices, sanctions and decisions are communicated to the team’s players, coaches, staff, parents or guardians, contractors and other associated persons.
A single person may be an authorized representative for more than one team. Each team remains a separate record, and authority for one team does not automatically grant authority over another team.
Internal disputes among owners, managers, players, staff, sponsors or other team stakeholders are the responsibility of the team. Unless KSG separately agrees in writing, KSG does not determine internal ownership percentages, player contributions, cost sharing, payroll, prize sharing or other internal financial arrangements.
4. Team registration documents and continuing obligations
Every team must provide valid registration, ownership or authorization documents reasonably requested by KSG and must maintain all registrations, licenses, permits, approvals and insurance required by KSG, applicable law, the venue, a sanctioning body or the applicable competition rules for the entire period in which the team participates in KSG activities.
Documents must be genuine, current and complete. A team must promptly notify KSG if a material registration, license, permit, insurance policy or authorization expires, is cancelled, is suspended, becomes inaccurate or is otherwise no longer valid. KSG may suspend or deny participation until satisfactory updated proof is received.
KSG may request certificates of insurance, endorsements, proof of legal existence, proof of authority, player eligibility documents, age documentation, guardian authorizations or other records reasonably related to competition administration, safety, risk management or legal compliance.
5. Insurance
Each participating team is responsible for obtaining and maintaining insurance coverage reasonably appropriate for its sport, participants and activities and any minimum coverage required by published KSG rules or the applicable venue. Coverage must remain in force throughout practices, matches, tournaments, travel or other activities for which KSG requires coverage.
Providing proof of insurance does not transfer the team’s risks or obligations to KSG and does not constitute a representation by KSG that the team’s insurance is sufficient for every possible claim. KSG may require updated proof or additional documentation before permitting participation.
6. Player, staff and participant responsibility
The team is responsible for the eligibility, conduct and administration of its players, coaches, staff, volunteers and other team-affiliated participants. This includes roster accuracy, age and identity eligibility, disciplinary status, required medical clearances, required licenses or registrations, emergency contact information, appropriate equipment, and legally sufficient consents and releases.
If a participant is a minor, the team must obtain all legally required parent or guardian permissions and must not represent that a minor can personally enter a binding agreement where the law does not allow it. KSG may require a direct participant or parent/guardian consent, waiver or release in addition to the team-level agreement.
No provision of these Terms is intended to waive a right that cannot lawfully be waived.
7. Sports, event and venue risks
Participation in sports and event activities involves inherent and other risks, including physical contact, collisions, falls, overexertion, equipment failure, playing-surface conditions, weather, heat, cold, lightning, travel, crowd activity, communicable illness, acts of other participants or spectators, and other foreseeable or unforeseeable conditions. Injuries may include sprains, fractures, concussion, paralysis, permanent disability, illness, property loss, emotional injury or death.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EACH TEAM AND EACH ADULT PARTICIPANT OR AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE WHO ACCEPTS THESE TERMS KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUMES THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATION AND RELEASES KSG LEAGUES, ITS AFFILIATES, OWNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, VOLUNTEERS, OFFICIALS AND EVENT PERSONNEL FROM CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF A RELEASED PARTY IN CONNECTION WITH PARTICIPATION IN KSG ACTIVITIES.
This release does not apply to gross negligence, willful or wanton misconduct, intentional misconduct, or any other liability that cannot legally be released or limited.
8. Medical care and emergencies
Teams are responsible for ensuring that participants are medically fit for participation and for complying with applicable concussion, return-to-play, safeguarding and emergency requirements. KSG does not provide medical advice and does not guarantee that a physician, athletic trainer, ambulance or other medical professional will be present at every activity unless expressly stated.
If an emergency occurs, KSG personnel may contact emergency services or take reasonable steps to facilitate care. The participant, parent/guardian or team remains responsible for medical, transportation and related charges unless applicable law or a separate written agreement provides otherwise.
9. Property, facilities and damage
Teams and participants must follow all applicable venue terms, policies and operational rules, protect playing surfaces and facilities, and use equipment and property responsibly. Registration for or participation in a KSG competition constitutes agreement to comply with the applicable venue requirements in addition to KSG competition rules and these Terms. A team is responsible for loss, cleanup costs, repair or replacement costs and other property damage caused by the acts or omissions of its players, coaches, staff, guests or other team-affiliated persons, subject to applicable law and proof of responsibility.
KSG may invoice the team for documented damage or other recoverable costs and may condition continued participation on resolution of outstanding property obligations.
10. Fees, fines, sanctions and team awards
Registration fees, team entry fees, fines, damage charges, disciplinary assessments and other amounts identified as team obligations are obligations of the registered team. The authorized team representative is responsible for ensuring timely payment. KSG is not responsible for deciding how the team allocates those obligations internally among owners, players, staff, sponsors or other persons.
Fines and sanctions imposed under published competition rules are contractually binding on the team, subject to any appeal or review procedure provided by KSG rules. Failure to satisfy a valid financial or disciplinary obligation may result in suspension, ineligibility, withholding of participation privileges, or other remedies permitted by the applicable rules and law.
Competition prizes and awards are made at the team level unless a published rule expressly provides otherwise. KSG does not determine how a team distributes an award internally. Where permitted by law and the applicable competition rules, amounts validly owed to KSG may be offset against amounts otherwise payable to the same team.
11. Rules, officiating and discipline
Teams and participants must comply with the applicable laws of the game, KSG competition rules, codes of conduct, eligibility requirements, venue rules, anti-harassment and safety requirements, disciplinary decisions and reasonable operational instructions. Referee and match decisions are handled through the competition’s rules and are not ordinarily subject to collateral dispute through unrelated KSG channels.
KSG may investigate misconduct, issue warnings, fines, suspensions, forfeitures or other sanctions, and maintain records needed to administer competition integrity. Appeals must follow the process and deadline specified by the applicable rules.
12. Registration limits, selection, schedules and draws
A published maximum number of teams is the maximum final competition field unless stated otherwise; it is not necessarily the maximum number of applications KSG may receive. KSG may accept applications beyond the final field size and select, waitlist or reject teams at or after the published registration cutoff.
Fixtures, seeds, bracket positions or matchups shown before an official draw or schedule lock may be provisional. KSG may use automated scheduling tools to generate preliminary pairings. Final matchups become official when KSG completes any required draw or raffle, locks the schedule and publishes it.
KSG may reasonably change dates, times, venues, formats or operational details because of weather, safety, venue availability, broadcast needs, force majeure, participant withdrawal, regulatory requirements or other legitimate competition needs.
13. Media, photography and broadcasts
KSG competitions and related activities may be photographed, filmed, videotaped, recorded, livestreamed, broadcast and otherwise captured in audiovisual form by KSG and its authorized media partners. By registering for and participating in a KSG competition, each team acknowledges and agrees that its players, coaches, staff, representatives and other participants may appear in that coverage, subject to applicable law.
Teams are responsible for obtaining any participant, employee, contractor, parent or legal guardian permissions, consents, waivers or releases that the team is legally required to obtain for participation in recorded or broadcast activities. For participants who are minors, the registering team is specifically responsible for obtaining legally required parent or legal guardian permissions.
All footage, recordings, broadcasts, livestreams, highlights, photographs and other audiovisual content produced by or on behalf of KSG in connection with KSG competitions are the property of KSG Holdings to the fullest extent permitted by law. KSG-produced content may not be reproduced, rebroadcast, redistributed, sublicensed, sold, commercially exploited or otherwise distributed without prior written permission from KSG Holdings.
KSG may publish ordinary competition information such as team names, logos, approved player names, lineups, scores, statistics, standings, disciplinary outcomes and event imagery where permitted by law, consent and KSG policy. Separate written terms may govern commercial advertising campaigns, endorsements, controlled shoots, interviews or uses outside ordinary competition coverage.
14. Team names, logos and submitted materials
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit team names, logos, photographs, documents, written content and other materials to KSG. You grant KSG a non-exclusive license to store, reproduce, display and use submitted branding and competition materials as reasonably necessary to administer, promote, broadcast and archive the applicable KSG activities.
You retain ownership of your underlying intellectual property. You may not use KSG names, logos, marks, broadcast assets or other KSG intellectual property for commercial purposes except as permitted by written KSG brand rules or a separate written agreement.
15. Partnerships, staffing and opportunities
Submitting a partnership, sponsorship, staff-role, creator or supplier application is not a guarantee of selection, engagement, employment, compensation, credentialing, exclusivity or future work. Any approved commercial partnership, employment relationship, independent-contractor engagement, media credential or supplier engagement may be subject to separate written terms.
16. Third-party venues and services
KSG activities may involve independently owned venues, payment providers, communications services, storage providers, broadcasters, technology providers or other third parties. Their separate terms, policies and operational rules may apply. KSG is not responsible for a third party’s independent acts, omissions, systems or property except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Suspension, removal and termination
KSG may suspend or terminate access, participation or approval when reasonably necessary to protect safety, competition integrity, legal compliance, property, systems or other participants; when required documentation or insurance is missing or invalid; when payment obligations remain unresolved; or when these Terms or competition rules are materially breached.
18. Indemnification by teams and organizations
To the fullest extent permitted by law, each team or organization agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless KSG and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, volunteers and officials from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, judgments, penalties, reasonable legal fees and costs arising from: (a) the team’s breach of these Terms or competition rules; (b) false or unauthorized submissions; (c) acts or omissions of the team’s players, coaches, staff, guests or representatives; (d) the team’s property damage; (e) the team’s violation of law or infringement of third-party rights; or (f) the team’s failure to obtain required participant, parent/guardian or media permissions.
This indemnity does not require a team to indemnify a KSG party for that KSG party’s gross negligence, willful misconduct or other liability that cannot legally be shifted.
19. Service disclaimers
Except for obligations expressly stated in a written agreement, the Services, schedules, statistics, standings, content and digital systems are provided on an “as available” basis. KSG does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free data, any particular number of games, audience size, media reach, sponsorship value, employment opportunity, competitive outcome or financial return.
20. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KSG will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages, lost profits, lost opportunity or loss of data arising from the Services or participation in KSG activities. Any limitation is subject to applicable law and does not exclude liability that the law prohibits KSG from excluding.
21. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Before filing a non-emergency civil claim, the parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through the applicable KSG administrative or appeal process when one exists. Subject to mandatory law, venue for disputes arising from these Terms will lie in a court of competent jurisdiction in Georgia.
22. Changes, severability and entire agreement
KSG may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date and, where appropriate, presented for renewed acceptance before a new application, registration or other material transaction. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
These Terms, together with applicable competition rules, accepted disclosures, waivers, written assignments and signed agreements, constitute the agreement governing the relevant KSG activity and supersede inconsistent informal statements about that activity.
23. Questions and notices
Questions about these Terms should be directed through the official KSG Leagues contact channel identified in your account, application correspondence or other official KSG communication. Team representatives are responsible for keeping their KSG contact information current so that notices can be delivered reliably.
