Teams & competition
KSG separates the team record from league entry. That distinction makes it possible for one owner or authorized POC to manage multiple teams and for each approved team to enter eligible competitions independently.
What is KSG Leagues?
KSG Leagues is the competition arm of KSG Athletics. It organizes sports leagues, tournaments and related competition operations, including team entry, scheduling, standings, matchday administration, rules, media coordination and community commitments.
How do I register a team?
Open the public Register a Team guide, review the requirements, then sign in when you are ready to submit. A team is created as a standalone KSG record and is reviewed before it becomes active.
Can one owner or POC manage more than one team?
Yes. Ownership and management permissions are attached to each team independently. The same user may be an authorized owner, primary contact or manager for multiple teams.
Does registering a team automatically enter it into a league?
No. Team registration and league entry are separate. Once a team is approved, an authorized contact can use that team to apply to any eligible KSG competition.
What documents does a team need?
Teams must provide valid registration or ownership documentation requested by KSG and must maintain required insurance while participating in KSG activities. KSG or a venue may request updated proof before participation continues.
What happens if a league receives more applications than its Max Teams value?
Max Teams is the final competition field size, not necessarily the application limit. KSG may receive more applications, review them through the registration cutoff, then approve, waitlist or decline teams when the final field is selected.
How do the registration cutoff and raffle/draw work?
The registration cutoff marks the end of the application window. After review and final-field selection, KSG conducts or confirms the official draw on the published draw date. Any pre-draw matchup display is provisional until the schedule is locked and published.
How is a Single Elimination schedule generated?
Once the final field is selected, KSG can automatically create the knockout bracket. If the selected field is smaller than the bracket size, appropriate first-round byes can be assigned. Admin reviews the draw, then locks and publishes the official schedule.
Are team entry fees, prizes and fines team-level amounts?
Yes. Unless a competition rule expressly says otherwise, KSG assesses team entry fees and competition fines at the registered-team level and awards team prizes at the team level. A team's internal funding or prize-distribution arrangement is its own responsibility.
Who is responsible for players, coaches and team staff?
KSG contracts and communicates primarily through the registered team and its authorized contacts. The team is responsible for its participants, required permissions, eligibility, behavior, documentation and compliance with competition and venue rules. Additional individual or parent/guardian releases may be required.
Where do I find fixtures, standings and player statistics?
Published fixtures appear on the Schedule and league pages. Standings, match centers and player leaders populate as official match data, lineups and events are recorded.
Where can KSG matches be watched?
KSG Network is the initial broadcast home for KSG live coverage, highlights and related programming. Match-specific distribution may also include additional television, streaming or social outlets when announced.
How can I work with KSG on matchdays?
Visit Work With KSG to review role categories before applying. Opportunities can include officiating, commentary, videography, production, operations, guest services, logistics and support roles.
How do sponsorships and partnerships work?
Visit the public Partnerships page first. KSG considers sponsorship, media, community, venue, supplier and strategic proposals. Submitting a proposal does not itself create a commercial agreement or grant exclusivity.
What does KSG mean by community commitments?
KSG competitions are designed to create value beyond the standings through initiatives such as youth support, benefit events, local hiring, community cleanups and other season-specific commitments.
How do I sign in?
KSG uses passwordless email verification. Enter your email on the sign-in page, receive the one-time verification code and complete your profile when required before accessing protected applications or dashboard actions.
