Every new competition begins with a group willing to believe in it before the first official whistle. KSG Leagues is grateful to four teams that have consistently shown support for the initiative during its early development. In recognition of that support, those clubs will be grandfathered into the founding-team process for the first KSG league, subject to the same final participation, safety, insurance, and scheduling requirements that apply to the competition.
The first league will intentionally remain small. KSG plans to cap the inaugural field at eight teams, creating room for a focused launch, dependable scheduling, stronger match presentation, and a better experience for participating clubs. A smaller opening season also gives the league space to refine operations before additional competitions and divisions are introduced.
A schedule built around consistency
Games will be played primarily on Saturdays, with occasional Wednesday fixtures when the competition calendar requires them. The first KSG Premier League season is currently being planned around an early-November Saturday launch at Silverbacks Park — Stadium 4, 3200 Atlanta Silverbacks Way, Atlanta, GA 30340. The final opening date and complete fixture list will be published once scheduling is confirmed.
The founding clubs will help establish the standard for what comes next: arriving prepared, respecting competition rules, meeting administrative deadlines, supporting matchday operations, and helping create an environment that is competitive without losing the community spirit behind the league. Founding status is recognition of early support, not an exemption from league standards.
More leagues will follow
Teams that are not part of the first eight should continue checking the KSG website. The inaugural competition is only the first step, and future leagues, divisions, age groups, tournament formats, and sport-specific opportunities can be opened as facilities, scheduling, and demand allow.
For now, the focus is on getting the first competition right. Four founding teams helped create the early momentum; the remaining places will help complete the inaugural field and set the tone for the first full KSG season.
